Tom is a photographer with a focus on southeastern Europe and stories of ethno‑nationalism, borders and political history.
He has lived for several years in Georgia, working for a while in the darkroom at Magnolia Film Lab, printing and teaching, before returning to live in rural Samegrelo.
His photography often includes symbolic use of alternative photographic processes to better communicate concepts within the image.
He now lives and works primarily in the UK.
